Ok, Every once in a long while, I'll be posting a new artist or song that I'm particularly fond of at the time. Use it to expand your tastes. If you think I'm forgetting something, tell me! Also, I discovered a function that Winamp has... I can make my playlist into a page! Well, I have about 1300 songs so It's a long read but if you're ever bored go for it...

Current Artist: David Gray

A fellow Ben Folds fan told me about this man. I'm eternally grateful, David Gray is an incredible musician. This is another dowloaded artist, with me not having bought a CD (I did buy a Ben Harper album, so get off me!)

Genre: A very mellow Ben Folds type... poppy with lots of piano and guitar.

Favorite Songs: Babylon (That's his money song), Please Forgive Me, Shine, My Oh My.

Best CD: Haven't bought any yet!

Ben Harper

I just recently became acquainted with Ben Harper's music and I'm crazy for it. I've downloaded all I can bear, but that's not enough! I'm going to buy his CDs next tuesday when I get paid.

Genre: Kindof hard to define... Most of his songs are very mellow. I guess it could be considered folk/davemathewsish.

Favorite songs: Burn One Down, Alone, I Shall Not Walk Alone, Roses From Friends, Walk Away, Steal My Kisses..

Best CD: I wouldn't know I haven't bought any... yet!

Ben Folds / Ben Folds Five

Yes, I realize these are two seperate bands, but the talent in both is one and the same: Ben Folds himself. This man is incredible. He can play piano, guitar, various brass and woods. Wow. Most of his songs are upbeat, slightly popish, but have a style all their own. He's got a fun voice to sing with too.

Genre: Pop/rock/lounge/basically everything heavy on the piano.

Favorite Songs: Oh, boy here we go... BEN FOLDS Annie Waits, Carrying Cathy, Losing Lisa, Rocking the Suburbs, Zak and Sara, Fired, Ascent Of Stan BEN FOLDS FIVE Cigarette, Brick, Evaported, Fair, Kate, One Angry Dwarf, Philosophy, Selfless Cold and Composed, Smoke, Steven's Last Night In Town

Best CD: Those of you who know much about Ben Folds know that about 50 to 60 percent of the above songs come from
"Whatever and Ever Amen" Great CD.

Ani Difranco

Oh wow. She has an incredible voice, great guitarmanship (is that a word!? -ed) and great writing. Some of her songs are just wonderful. She's like a hippy diva. Kind of.

Genre: Kindof an angry/intense folk/classic-rock/her-own-thing.

Favorite Songs: 32 Flavors, Both Hands, Falling Is Like This, Fuck You, Little Plastic Castle, Shameless

Best CD: Probably Up Up Up, my first of hers that I heard.
